My friend and I had the crazy idea yesterday afternoon that we were going to travel to Iran. At first kind of joking. He is a Malaysian diplomat’s son and he was just joking around saying “Oh, Ill get you a Malay diplomatic card to get into Iran, duh its possible my countrys pretty corrupt” However, then we started researching more and more and it appears that Iran is actually pretty safe for Americans. Okay I know some people are thinking— WHAT Iran is not safe for an American… However, I believe the opposite. I have ALWAYS heard amazing things about the country as a whole. I have heard the people are great and very kind, the streets are amazing, and the culture is one of its own. So I have always kind of been interested in going into Iran. It is not safe for people who happen to go there take pictures of protests, dont follow Islamic laws or cause disturbances also it is not safe for those who happen to try to sneak into the country without a visa or anything.. Hmm, I wonder why?
However, I feel that if it go into the country WITH a proper visa, I notify the embassy in DC, I notify all the embassies around Iran- because the US does not have an embassy in Iran, and I take precausions I will be completely fine :-)

After Iran I will go to Germany :-) There I will stay outside of Frankfurt and then take the Eurostar of Germany around the country to travel. .. It will be great, I want to look at all the castles, go into gas chambers, etc.etc.
After Germany I will fly up into Russia and take the train from Moscow down into Beijing :-) Lovely.
Then once in Beijing I will study abroad in China for the year :-)!!
